For doctor program applicant of September intake without acceptance letters, please visit the webpage of your school in our English website, find the contact email of professor in your field, and manage to persuade them to issue you an acceptance letter as soon as possible.
Due to Covid-19 and other reasons, quite a number of international students cannot graduate on time. Professors are very demanding to new applicants. Only applicants who can satisfy the following requirements are welcome to contact them:
1. In the past five years, applicants should publish at least one paper as the first author or corresponding author in high quality journal in their discipline. Applicants must submit the retrieval certificate to prove the article was published is the core journal of the field.
2. Winner of international awards in the field, host or key participants in international scientific research cooperation projects are also will be considered. Supporting documents that can prove the applicant's research ability and potential should be submitted.
3. The applicant shall be responsible for the authenticity of the submitted materials. Once false information is discovered, the serious consequences will be borne by themselves.
If you already have an acceptance letter, pls keep close contact with your prof. for latest progress of your application, especially the selection within the school of your professor. Prof. is supposed to submit your application to their school for assessment.
If your application is approved by school, professor should sign the"郑州大学国际研究生接收意向表", and have it stamped by their school & sent to International Admission Office.

The registration time for students taken now will be in September of 2025.
Checklist of all documents submitted for PhD program:
1.Passport copy Passport should be valid for at least one more year (should be valid in 2026/9);
2.The latest resident permit in China (Applicant who stay in China previously) The last visa or resident permit of your stay in China
3.Full CV Cover all periods, no gaps
4. All degree certificates and transcripts of bachelor and master study. All bachelor degrees and transcripts and all master degrees and transcripts. All should be notarized
5. The research proposal& statement of future career plan. Plagiarism will be examined. Rejected once identified
6. Two academic referee letters with contact information. Should be issued recently, with official email and phone number.
7. Official score report of HSK, TOEFL, or IELTS. Other type certificate is not acceptable
8. Document of publications, documentary evidence of academic awards and professional qualifications, and summary of relevant experience. No fake document/information. Rejected once identified
9. Scholarship application form, available at:http://international.zzu.edu.cn/uploads/201704/21/H421348497821945.docx.The form should be complete and signed
10. Physical examination record, valid only in 6 months, should be valid for your visa application in Embassy. Should be issued recently, no earlier than last November, with lab reports
11. No criminal record certificate, valid only in 6 months, should be valid for your visa application. Should be issued recently by police station, no earlier than last November, cover all periods.
12. Working certificate of all posts
13. Others, You can make all of them into one pdf file and submit in "Other " section of online application system.
